I WANT TO SELL AN ITEM ON REVEALTHING:

  • What can I sell? What brand?

REVEALTHING sells luxury second-hand bags, clothing, shoes, fashion accessories, and jewelry for women and men.

  • How do I list an item for sale on Revealthing?

You can simply offer an item for sale by contacting us via WhatsApp * - by making an appointment here * - by email at contact@revealthing.com .

After speaking with us, our experts will determine the fair value of your item based on its condition. If the item is selected, you will receive a quick and intuitive form to complete. This form is a commercial offer that you can accept or decline, accompanied by a deposit slip and a shipping label.

If you accept, you will only need to return this signed acceptance form to us by email, which serves as a sales mandate for a minimum of 3 months.

We schedule a carrier at your request to collect your items directly from your home to our office . In some cases, we can meet at your home for an appointment and collection.
Our insurance covers shipping. Shipping costs are prepaid by REVEALTHING and will be deducted from your sale amount.

Upon receipt of your item by REVEALTHING, a final appraisal confirming the estimate and the conditions of sale is carried out.

*In the event that the product turns out to be counterfeit, it will be returned to you by Revealthing, at your expense.

*Items must be in good condition, meaning no holes, stains, pilling, significant wear or discoloration, and with working zippers.

All labels must be present and legible: original brand label, size label and composition label.

Revealthing reserves the right to refuse items that do not meet these criteria.

  • How are items insured?

REVEALTHING has its own insurance to cover any incidents that may occur during transport and storage. All items are insured against theft and accidental damage up to the purchase price or the net seller amount.

  • How are objects appraised by REVEALTHING?

Each item selected by REVEALTHING is physically analyzed by our experts upon receipt of the package. For ultra-luxury products, an official analysis is performed. the authenticity of the products will be made by Entrupy, Expertise company supported by the LVMH group. An Entrupy * certificate of authenticity with a unique number will be provided.

    • Who handles the relationship with the buyer?

    The buyer relationship is entirely handled by the REVEALTHING team. You don't have to do anything; we take care of everything.

    • Who pays the shipping costs to the buyer?

    REVEALTHING charges the buyer for delivery costs for the item depending on the mode of transport and the place of delivery, according to the grid published on our site or below in BUY.

    Delivery costs are free for the buyer in Metropolitan France for any order over €300.

    As a reminder, REVEALTHING prepays the outward shipping costs, i.e. from your home (seller) to our Paris office.

    • What is the REVEALTHING commission?

    We have one mission: to ensure that every seller benefits by trusting us and entrusting us with their pieces. In other words, we take care of everything, you don't have to worry about anything, and we pay the fees upfront. Once your piece sells, you receive the proceeds via wire transfer.

    We take care of: organizing transport, insurance, photo shoots, packaging, marketing and social media advertising, posting on marketplaces, sometimes cleaning or restoration, etc.

    REVEALTHING's commission is low, much to the delight of our sellers, and amounts to 35% of the sale amount including tax, excluding additional transport costs or other services offered.

    • When and how am I paid once the item is sold?

    You will be paid by REVEALTHING at the end of the buyer's legal withdrawal period (14 clear days from receipt of the purchased item) and within a maximum period of 20 working days following payment by the buyer.
    Payment will be made by bank transfer only.

    If your item is returned by the buyer within the legal 14-day period, we automatically put it back on sale on all platforms and do everything we can to sell it as quickly as possible.

    • What happens when the item I have consigned remains unsold?

    75% of our items are sold within 2 months.

    If the item is still available for sale after 90 days, REVEALTHING offers you the option to revise the original sale price, which you are free to approve or reject. In this case, you can retrieve your item upon request at your own expense.

    • Can I withdraw an item I have entrusted to REVEALTHING from sale before the 90 days?

    By validating the commercial offer and returning the signed sales mandate to us, you agree to the sale of your item on our site for 90 days.

    It is only if your item is unsold and after the legal period of 90 days that you can then recover it upon simple request at your expense.

    I WANT TO PURCHASE AN ITEM ON REVEALTHING:

    • How do I purchase an item on REVEALTHING?

    You can complete your purchase by clicking "buy" and simply following the steps. Your purchase is complete when you complete your payment. The item you purchased will then be shipped to the delivery address you provided.

    • How do you guarantee the condition and authenticity of the items?

    We select and control We carefully physically inspect all the items entrusted to us to guarantee the authenticity of the product and its condition. If an item does not meet these criteria, it will be rejected for quality control.

    For ultra-luxury products, an official analysis the authenticity of the products will be made by Entrupy, An expert firm supported by the LVMH group. You will receive an Entrupy * certificate of authenticity with a unique number upon purchase. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

    If you have received an item that does not meet your expectations and seems to have escaped our attention, please contact us.

    • Which countries do you deliver to?

    We ship worldwide, any customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

    • What delivery methods and costs does REVEALTHING offer?

    The delivery methods are as follows:

    - Courier for Paris intramuros from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., delivery costs €30 - delivery against signature.

    - Home delivery in Metropolitan France: €30 within 2 working days and 6 working days in Corsica - delivery against signature.

    - Delivery to Europe and French overseas departments and territories: €40 - delivery against signature.

    - Rest of the world: €90 within approximately 8 working days - delivery against signature.

    Delivery costs are free in Metropolitan France for all orders over €300.

    For any purchase outside the European Union, customs fees may be charged by the carrier we use. You will also be required to pay import VAT.

    • What payment methods does REVEALTHING accept?

    - Online payment by credit card: Visa, Mastercard. In just a few clicks, your payment is 100% secure.

    -Payment by Paypal or Apple Pay:

    If you have a PayPal account, you can choose the payment method that best suits your needs. You will be redirected to a secure payment page to pay for your order in just a few clicks.

    -You can pay for your purchases in installments through our partner ALMA. It's very simple: choose ALMA as your payment method and then confirm your payment. You will then be automatically redirected to a secure page. Then follow the guided steps to confirm your purchase. ALMA's terms and conditions and rates are available at the time of payment.

    • How do I track my order?

    All orders are shipped within 5 business days maximum.

    Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive an email with tracking information.

    If you have chosen courier delivery within Paris, we will inform you by email when your order is ready so that you can arrange an appointment.

    • I changed my mind, can I return my item?

    A size problem or a question of taste? If a product does not suit you, you can request a return and refund within 14 calendar days of receiving your order.

    Upon receipt of the returned product, it is checked by our logistics department before reimbursement.

    For the refund to be validated, it is necessary that:

    - The item must be returned in its original packaging with all its accessories.

    - The item must not have been worn.

    Only a return that meets these conditions will give rise to a full refund via the same payment method as that used when ordering.

    If you are returning a worn or damaged item, please contact us so we can find the best solution together.

    An order refused due to non-payment of customs fees will not be refunded. Return shipping costs are your responsibility; you are free to choose the carrier. We recommend tracked shipping and insurance to cover any risk of loss or theft.

    • How is the confidentiality of personal information ensured?

    REVEALTHING undertakes to keep confidential the personal data concerning all of its members, and to never communicate them except in the event of an express request from the judicial or regulatory authorities, particularly in the event of a possible criminal offense.

    In order to ensure the processing, tracking and archiving of your orders and deposits, REVEALTHING must necessarily process your personal data. The processed data is transmitted to R EVEALTHING and, where applicable, to the partners concerned in accordance with the following terms and for the following purposes:

    - order management by R EVEALTHING

    The provision of personal data collected for the purposes of distance selling is mandatory for the confirmation and validation of any order as well as its tracking and dispatch.

    In their absence, an order cannot be fulfilled.

    This data may be transmitted to technical service providers of R EVEALTHING for the sole purpose of the proper execution of orders, or statistics.

    -Sending commercial information

    You may be required to receive R EVEALTHING emails or text messages containing information about the products and activities of R EVEALTHING.

    You retain the right to refuse such communication subsequently by expressing your refusal by email by clicking in the dedicated section on the Site.

    Rights of access, modification, opposition and deletion

    In all cases, you have the right to access, modify, oppose and delete your personal data by writing to the following address: contact@revealthing.com, indicating your surname, first name, email and address.

    In accordance with current regulations, all requests must be signed and accompanied by a photocopy of an identity document bearing the applicant's signature and specify the address to which the response should be sent. A response will then be sent to you within 2 months of receipt of the request.

    R EVEALTHING never has access to confidential payment information. This is why you will be asked for your bank details with each order.
